Overview

Global Street Art’s mission is “to live in painted cities." This is realised by working with top street artists and creating incredible murals for commercial and community initiatives. Global Street Art is committed to using street art to revitalise urban areas and create a sense of community ownership of public spaces. By working with local authorities, businesses, and community groups, Global Street Art transforms neglected or derelict spaces into vibrant, dynamic areas. Since 2012, Global Street Art and its community of artists—a network of top established names and emerging talents—have painted several thousand walls around the world for commercial and community initiatives. Commercially, Global Street Art is the UK’s foremost hand-painted advertising agency, delivering across the country and with international sites spanning over 50 countries. GSA has won several Cannes Lions and Drum awards along the way. No one has painted more walls, roofs, or roads for both the world’s most recognisable brands and the streets themselves than Global Street Art. In communities, Global Street Art works with grassroots artists to develop pure art murals and showcase their work. So far, they have organised over 2,500 community murals in housing estates, on construction hoardings, and on walls across the capital. Global Street Art is also building an archive to inspire artists, collating ephemera produced over the last 150 years. The collection aims to preserve designs intended to be disposable to inspire artists today and in the future. Global Street Art believes in street art’s ability to transform people and places.
