Overview

Who we are? Global Aid Hand (GAH) is a non-profit organization, founded by Ismael Hagana, a committed and experienced philanthropist with the assistance of highly qualified field cadres who have chosen to pursue a shared interest in humanitarianism. The objective of the organization is to bring radical transformation into the life of the most vulnerable and to contribute to the positive impact to humanity at large. In order to achieve these goals, the founders are fully committed to provide high quality, broad and transparent public services in the sector of shelter and protection, health, water and sanitation, education, food security and livelihoods. Being a non-profit organization, GAH delivers humanitarian, life-saving services in conflict situations for all affected sides without prejudice and partiality. The retaining of voluntarism and humanitarian principles are the primary forces in service deliveries. Recognizing the fundamental human rights, which is endowed by each human, Global Aid Hand believes that all people are born to be free and equal in dignity as articulated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (article 1). Being a women and child-focused organization, we believe in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child that shapes our work and mission. GAH undertakes ownership of its programs and takes responsibility for its activities to the public. In this regard the organization is accountable for the execution and outcomes of activities with excellence to ensure that fund channels to the most vulnerable beneficiaries. The Code of Conduct of the organization ensures that both volunteers and staff harmoniously implement and perform their responsibilities that generates and sustains trust of all partners. Moreover, GAH is accountable for all its actions and decisions primarily to the beneficiaries, whom services are delivered, and to its partners such as sponsors, funders, other implementing organizations, the government of Sudan.
