Glassnote Candle Bar

Overview

Glassnote Candle Bar builds on sibling brand, Milwaukee Candle Co. and provides a premier space to invite the community to learn how to create their own fragrances and their own candles, while enjoying libations, conversation, and music. The space is meant to bring people together, and to showcase the cool neighborhood of Walkers Point. It is encouraged to create an evening in the neighborhood with your reservation at Glassnote Candle Bar. With local restaurants, food trucks, breweries, gift shops, and bars located on the same street, it is convenient to explore the neighborhood before, after, or during (while your candle solidifies). Why Glassnote as the name? We wanted to pick a name that included the actual names of the components associated with the everyday operations, while not being so straight forward and leaving some room for interpretation. Various forms of glass are practically used and artistically displayed throughout the space, while fragrance notes can easily be picked up as they are stirred in the air from our candle studio in the back and the patrons in the candle bar creating their own scents and their own candles. We wanted to allow the customer to think outside the box a bit as to what is “Glassnote”? The aesthetic of the candle bar focuses on the raw materials we use every day here at Milwaukee Candle Co. and within Glassnote. These include glass beakers, glass jars, glass stirring rods, glass candle containers, fragrance notes, oils, soy wax flakes, etc. Even the space we are located in has a large emphasis on the raw materials of the building, having exposed brick, wood, iron and steel. So come on in and say hi, we'll be waiting for you!
