Overview

GIV Society is a volunteer event management team that supports non-profit organizations and communities in achieving their social goals. GIV Society is more than a charity-centric organization. It has been developed as a disruptive social platform leveraging win win strategy, social media and media enabling an eco-system through collaboration between non-profit organizations, communities and corporations. This results in rapid acceptance that within the first year of implementation, corporations such as Deloitte, Starbucks, Canadian Superstore, White Spot, UBC Blockchain, Shark Club has enthusiastically collaborated with non-profits and communities such as DTES Neighbourhood House, DTES Market, Shakti Society, African Descent Festival, Harambecouver, BC Buddhist Festival, CARP (Richmond Chapter), Homeless initiatives etc. in programs that immediately benefited the needy. In the first year GIV has directly impacted over 35,000 people in the lower mainland through supporting local non-profits and community(s) initiatives and feeding over 2,800 homeless in the DTES.
