Overview

Give North Education is a project whose goal is to improve access to an inclusive quality free basic education up to junior secondary as a right for every child in Northern Nigeria and creating chances for a girl child by improving access to their education and bridging the inequalities that hinders progress. In other to achieve the goals of education for sustainable development in Northern Nigeria , The project operates via some designated set missions & visions among which is ; 1. Providing scholarships for students/pupils so as to encourage life long learning & increase child enrollments in schools especially Girls Child Education. 2. Provision of learning aids to students which are consistent to the requirements of the National syllabus. 3. Provision of teaching materials to schools which are consistent to the provisions of the national syllabus 4. Mapping out specific community schools problems with key sponsors and stakeholders who are willing to provide assistance such that will create avenue that will support public private partnership 5. Bridging the gaps between schools management with parents, and schools management with their respective education ministries such that will ensure timely intervention for specific schools problems 6. Reform of Almajiri system(If not abolishment) such that will see Almajiri system operate only as Day Islamic Primary schools that would be controlled and regulated by the National Board for Arabic & Islamic Studies as such parents must take full responsibilities of their wards and must be sanctioned incase of any violation of set laws. 7. Creating rural community awareness campaigns such that we remind indigenous communities of their roles in supporting children to attain higher education and collective assistance the communities could offer to support schools. PTA should be remodeled.
