Overview

Giro Zero is a project of the Los Andes University, Cardiff University, which is supported by the Colombia-UK PACT, the UK’s program for technical assistance and finance to accelerate climate transition. Our multidisciplinary team works to strengthen the capacities of the road freight transport industry, to develop tools that allow the adoption of better green logistic practices and to generate cooperation networks between the public and private sectors with the goal of contributing to achieving an industry with low or no emissions at all. The main recipients of this project are the ‘Federación Colombiana de Transportadores de Carga por Carretera - COLFECAR’ (The Colombian Road Freight Federation) and ‘Asociación Nacional de Empresarios de Colombia - ANDI’ (The National Businessmen Association of Colombia).
