Overview

We're a Melbourne-based social group established in 2019 by the Melton Library and Learning Hub. We meet regularly online and in-person, providing a platform for young women of all cultural backgrounds to discuss a range of issues from body image to social media, mental health, cultural appropriation, relationships, economics and everything in between. We are proud of our community in the west and love reaching out to organisations to continue to empower and elevate young women’s voices. Girl Chat is committed to tackling gender equity issues, one conversation at a time and creating a generation of fearless, passionate young women.
