Overview

Gender Dialogues is a social initiative aimed at engendering a positive discourse around gender-related issues and cultivating a gender-positive environment in society. As India continues to battle gender inequality, women and sexual minorities in the country face extensive gender disadvantages across socio-economic domains. Instilling inquisitiveness and a holistic understanding of traditional notions and norms surrounding gender can create the requisite surround sound for a more gender-inclusive society and encumber the manifestation and internalization of gender stereotypes. Gender Dialogues leverages digital and social media to inform, educate and engender a better understanding of the factors impacting women and LGBTQA+ individuals from achieving their potential. With a particular focus on health outcomes, we hope to raise awareness around the institutional barriers to healthcare.
