The Gateway Career Center is home to the Gateway Program, Lafayette's personalized, four-year career-development program that helps students prepare for life after graduation. Students are encouraged to start taking advantage of all the resources and benefits of the Gateway program their first semester on campus. The ultimate goal of Gateway is to prepare students for the future and give them an edge over the competition by providing them ample opportunities to gain valuable real-world experience that will help them transition from college to career or graduate school. Gateway begins with self-discovery. Our Gateway Career Counselors help students evaluate their interests, strengths, values and to help them determine the right path. Throughout their four years here, students will receive valuable guidance and insight—from how to craft a resume to how to find an internship and prepare for a professional interview. Our dedicated Employer Relations team is dedicated to cultivating internships, research experiences, full-time jobs, and other professional opportunities through a robust network of employers, alumni, and parents.
