The Garrison Institute was founded in 2003 on the belief that actions in the world can be more compassionate and effective when infused with the wisdom and skill cultivated in contemplative practices. The Garrison Institute’s mission is to apply the transformative power of contemplation to today’s pressing social and environmental concerns, helping build a more compassionate, resilient future. We support humanitarian organizations through 4 core programs, each tailored to a particular target group offering a variety of specialized services in the form of workshops, online/offline training, blended learning courses, and e-learning courses.
