Founded in January 2013 by Fergus Walkinshaw, son of the late Formula 1, sports and touring car team owner Tom, FW Motorsport offers a wide range of professional motorsport and automotive services from its Oxfordshire premises, ideally situated in ‘Motorsport Valley’. FW Motorsport is an established sportscar racing team with a proven pedigree gained competing in the Michelin Ginetta GT Supercup, part of the BTCC package. Experts in racecar preparation and development, chassis set-up and composites, FW Motorsport can provide all-encompassing race support, from testing programmes and driver tuition, to full on-event race team management. The team’s major projects include rebuilding a 33-year-old classic Range Rover in less than three days at Silverstone Classic 2016, where the entire ground-up restoration of the 1983 model was completed with parts sourced from eBay and carried out in front of a live audience.
