Friends of the Urban Forest (FUF) bring neighbors together to plant and care for street trees and sidewalk gardens in San Francisco. We are committed to growing San Francisco’s urban forest, building community, and taking a local leadership role in climate solutions through the simple act of planting trees and gardens. Since 1981, we have planted more than 56,000 trees, totaling almost a third of San Francisco's street trees.
