Overview

The mission of Friends of Feeney is to help children and families who need assistance after heartbreak and tragedy. Our President & Founder, Eric Feeney, has been a teacher in West Hartford for over a decade. Over the course of two years, two of his students lost their fathers. The impact of all of these tragedies became very hard for Eric to cope with, and in response, Friends of Feeney was born. Since then, we have raised over $100,00 for 25+ families. This success is thanks to all of our wonderful friends who have supported us along the way. We participate in dozens of events throughout the year, including local parades, festivals, celebrity appearances, and other fundraising opportunities. In 2022, we were named "Favorite Nonprofit" in the Best of West Hartford competition. We always welcome new supporters and volunteers.
