Overview

The Hard Truth... Each month, an average of 21 First Responders sacrifice all in the line of duty. This leads to a double tragedy as their families are often plunged into financial and emotional hardship, with many relying on bake sales and fundraisers—only to barely keep their heads above water. We’re grateful for the bake sales, but they fall short of the true immediate needs of the families of fallen First Responders. FRBA was created to end the tragedy behind the tragedy. The Bright Light... When a First Responder tragically perishes in the line of duty, FRBA steps in to provide hope-giving financial support to their family. Through your generosity, we’re able to distribute vital funds to their most pressing basic needs. This means a spouse can focus on grieving the loss of their loved one, without the burden of wondering how their bills will get paid, how their kids will be fed, or how their lights will stay on, during the darkest hour. 100% Giving Model... Our founder, First Responder Task Force (www.FRTF.us), funds all of our administrative and overhead expenses - making it possible for 100% of the public donations we receive to go directly to serving the families of fallen First Responders. The average nonprofit spends nearly 66% of public donations on administrative and overhead expenses that include salaries, general expenses, and fundraising costs. This means for every $1.00 donated, only $0.34 is actually given to those you intended to help. With our 100% Giving Model, for every $1.00 donated, a family receives $1.00. That's generosity, done right. Our Goal... By 2025, our goal is to be an immediate source of financial and emotional support to 100% of families impacted by the loss of a First Responder in the line of duty. How You Can Help...
