The Franco’s story began in Tuscany, Italy in 1946 when a young Franco Ambrogi learned to sew from his mother at the age of six. He founded Franco's Fine Clothier in Richmond in the early seventies and grew the family business into an iconic men’s specialty retailer serving clients throughout the country. Initially known as a purveyor of quality suits and expert tailoring by in-house tailors, Franco's has now become renown for its personal service and broad range of quality apparel - from fine tailored clothing, sportswear, formalwear, footwear, and a wide assortment of fine furnishings for men.
