The Education and Training Service Centre is a development center for adult education and vocational training in the Icelandic labor market. Our role is to perform competency analyses, identify skills needs, develop curricula to meet those needs, develop and support career guidance measures, and coordinate a national system Validation of Prior Learning (VPL) in collaboration with key stakeholders, businesses and educational providers. The aim is to meet the needs of adults with short formal education and also to meet the demand of the labour market for increased knowledge and skills in a rapidly changing world of work.
