Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen was founded in 1972 and will celebrate 50 years of history and culinary tradition in 2022. Popeyes Founder was Al Copeland who was an entrepreneur and culinary innovator. He introduced the New Orleans style fried chicken that has now made the Popeyes brand famous throughout the world. Popeyes’ culinary heritage is built upon the rich Cajun and Creole flavor profiles that are unmistakably Louisiana. Popeyes continues to draw upon and celebrate this heritage to inspire new and authentic menu creations that the world craves. Fouzbox QSR LLC is a Franchise of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. What’s in the character (Distinctive Trait, Quality, or Attribute) of the name Fouzbox? Three Louisiana business entrepreneurs have come together to build Popeyes in the Lexington, Kentucky Market. Our name was formed from specific letters in each of their last names: Mah[fouz] + Car[bo] + Co[x] = Fouzbox FOUZ is derived from an ancient language and means victory and success. BOX is also derived from an ancient language from the word boxwood. Boxwoods are stable, strong, and hard working. The character of our company name, Fouzbox, is victorious, successful, stability, and strength with a strong work ethic. Our mission is to create an environment that is fun and exciting that is built on a foundation of Training and Service. You will learn the management of Popeyes systems and processes. You will lead as a Servant Leader whose principles are grounded in mutual respect of both our guests and each other. Training will be the fundamental building block of Fouzbox. Service will be the reason our guests keep coming. We believe that we can make a positive impact on people. Our goal is to add a little Louisiana spice to Kentucky’s bluegrass.
