The Forest Distillery is uniquely spread across two locations in the Peak District National Park. Forest Gin is distilled in a 17th century barn, nestled 1,200ft above sea level within the beautiful Macclesfield Forest. Even higher up the hill stands the 208 year old Cat & Fiddle. This is now the UK’s highest altitude whisky distillery, where we turn grain into liquid gold. The business is solely owned and managed by the Bond family. With the help of a small team of weasels, we daily distill spirits of the very highest quality. We predominately use organic and foraged ingredients where possible in our products, and all water used in the process comes from our own cool, clear natural springs.
