Football Helps Mission Creating a platform together with people in Burundi, Africa, in which everybody acknowledges their social responsibility and act accordingly. Football Helps Objectives - Empowerment of youth and the community through social and ecological activities - Value transfer through sports – Fairplay and Peace Building - Transfer of Knowledge applicable to everyday life in form of workshops - Strengthening the international development collaboration between Burundi and Austria Founded in 2011 as a private initiative, Football Helps has grown organically through the inspriation and motivation of everybody involved ever since. Today the organization provides a community for over 650 children in Burundi though its programs including: - weekly football trainings and matches - monthly social work, called Community Work - monthly shared warm meals - monthly workshops, where children receive valuable knowledge and values applicable to their everyday life - annual summer camps during school break - annual talent-competitions - regular community events to connect all children of Football Helps Football Helps consists of two organizations: Football Helps/ FH (in Austria) and Association Football Helps/ AFH (in Burundi) Football Helps is tax deductable in Austria and carries the Austrian Seal of Donations (Österreichisches Spendengütesiegel).
