Overview

Food For All was created by CEO Jenn Coe and her friend and co-founder Sherwin Ngan when they decided they wanted to give back to their community. Their idea: reach out to Vancouver's best chefs, highlight their personal stories and share some cherished family recipes. 100% of the profits from book sales would be donated to charities feeding the underprivileged in the Downtown Eastside. As a grassroots project, everyone except for the printing press volunteered their time. A successful Kickstarter campaign managed to raise 25k in one month to cover the printing costs.
