Floret Flower Farm

Overview

Founded by New York Times bestselling author Erin Benzakein, we are a family-run flower farm and seed company, specializing in growing unique, uncommon, and heirloom flowers. Our thriving research and education farm is dedicated to giving flower lovers the tools and information they need to grow the gardens of their dreams. Set in Washington’s beautiful Skagit Valley, our fields are bursting with flowers that reflect the season. Research is at the heart of our operation, and we conduct extensive trials to find the very best cut flower varieties, coveted for their scent, stem length, and ethereal qualities. We source from the best breeders in the world and grow many of the varieties we offer right here on the farm. Our shop features our very favorite cut flower seeds, as well as spring-flowering bulbs, tools, supplies, gifts, and books. Erin's best-selling book, Cut Flower Garden, won the American Horticultural Society’s 2018 Book Award, set sales records at Chronicle Books, and continues to inform, inspire, and delight flower lovers around the world. Her second book, A Year in Flowers, made The New York Times’ Bestseller List, and illustrates beautiful seasonal arrangements for every season. Her highly-anticipated upcoming book, Discovering Dahlias, will be available from booksellers everywhere on March 9, 2021. In the Floret Online Workshop, Erin pulls back the curtain of her flower-filled world to show you step by step how to grow, harvest, and sell beautiful cut flowers in your backyard or on a small plot. In the workshop, filmed over an entire growing season, she shares key strategies, systems, and time-tested techniques used to build Floret’s thriving, profitable flower business on a tiny 2-acre property.
