The goal is to substitute manual, labour-intensive data processing of raw images and point clouds to turn data into meaningful information for further analysis. Only from structured data detailed reports and actionable insights can be extracted. Data that would typically take days or months to process can now be done automatically in minutes. By closely inspecting workflows and challenges, we understood the potential of using machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) models to cope and perform well under an expanding workload or scope.
