FIRE STARTER STUDIOS is a 2-time Primetime Emmy & Producers Guild Award-nominated content company creating live action and animated television, digital and branded content. Principals Rachel Klein and Kimberly Austin both began their careers in television and have produced hundreds of hours of non-fiction, reality and sports programming including ESPN’s 30 for 30: The Fab Five, Animal Planet’s Untamed and Uncut, Fox’s UFC Primetime, Showtime’s 30 Days in May, as well as programs for HBO, ABC, CBS, Discovery, A&E, FX, TBS, Spike, TLC, Disney Channel, Travel Channel, Lifetime, Xbox and many more. Recently the company produced the 2-time Primetime Emmy and Producers Guild Award-nominated series National Endowment for the Arts: United States of Arts. This highly acclaimed 66-part digital documentary series showcased the variety and vitality of the arts in all 55 US States and Territories as well as profiling twelve groundbreaking artists: Robert Redford and the Sundance Institute, Maya Lin, the American Film Institute, Gary Sinise and The Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and the groundbreaking partnership between the NEA and the Department of Defense utilizing the power of art to help heal returning servicemen and women suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury and PTSD. Our branded division creates unique content and series for brands like Colgate, Sports Illustrated, People Magazine, Volvo, UNICEF, MasterCard, MIT, Princess Cruises, Chobani, the National Endowment for the Arts, Department of Defense, State to local and US Federal Government to start-ups. Fire Starter Studios has created an atmosphere of creativity, positivity, and productivity that has attracted talents like Carrie Underwood, Robert Redford, Larry Wilmore, Dutch director Jeffrey Elmont, and Pulitzer Prize-nominated writer David MacGregor.
