FedHealth BdExec Consulting, LLC is privately held, small woman owned consulting firm that specializes in providing business development- as-a- service for clients who provide products and services to the Federal Health market including Defense Health Agency, Department of Veteran Affairs, and the Department of Health and Human Services. The company was founded in August 2020, and provides support to small, mid-tier and large companies that do government contracting in the Federal Health market. The firm does not directly have any government contracts or government funding. The current business model is assisting clients to market and position their capabilities within the Federal health market and to build their pipelines, advance their opportunities and market and position their capabilities to the government and advising and guiding them through the complex acquisition lifecycle of understanding the contracting vehicles, federal acquisition regulations, and timeline and sequence of critical capture and bid proposal activities to leverage their probability of win and achieve government contract awards. The services cover the end-to-end business development lifecycle. Drawing on thirty plus years of experience in the Federal and Commercial healthcare industry, Ms. Fernbaugh is the Founder and serves as the President/CEO of FedHealth BdExec Consulting, LLC. Ms. Fernbaugh graduated in 1980 from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She began her career as a Registered Nurse in 1984, then moved in to the Commercial Electronic Health market, in 1996 she entered the government contracting space when the Military Health System was first making a buy vs. build decision for their next generation computer-based patient record. Then in 1999 she began her professional career in Business Development working and supporting a variety of successful System Integrators and Management Consulting Firms across all phases of the business development lifecycle.
