The Federal Innovators Salon is the place where innovators gather to become recharged, refreshed, more informed, and more connected in order to get after the quest of Innovation in all areas of Federal work. In the Salon, federal innovators spend time together intentionally, discussing recent successes, common challenges, projects of mutual interest and upcoming events we face as a community while trying to positively influence federal agencies in bringing about an innovation culture change. Participants consists of innovators (official and self-proclaimed alike) from all across the world of Defense, Intelligence, and all other U.S. federal agencies. We encourage optimistic, positive, adaptable, inclusive, creative, empathetic self-starters who believe we’re better together, as a nation and a global community, through a “rising tide floats all boats” growth mindset, especially when it comes to improving, modernizing, and attracting the best and brightest to our respective organizations. While the missions and objectives of our many organizations vary, we all care deeply about our nation. It is key to national strength for us to have a highly effective, communicative, collaborative, well-coordinated government run by ethical, creative, passionate, respectful, and intelligent people who know each other and have the best possible resources at their disposal to ensure the country’s continued success as a Democracy and beacon for freedom for the world.
