Overview
The Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering in Kraljevo is a higher education institution which, in the realization of its activity, combines educational, scientific research and professional work as the components of a unique higher education process. The Faculty implements vocational and academic study programmes from the scientific field of technical - technological sciences and develops scientific - research and professional work. In the definition of its study programmes and courses, the starting point was the market demand for adequate knowledge, then the available staff, equipment of laboratories, computer equipment, library fund and spatial capacities. The educational activity of the Faculty is accomplished on the basis of the accredited study programmes for acquiring higher education qualifications: 1. basic academic studies (bachelor) in: • mechanical engineering, lasting 4 years (240 ECTS points), • civil engineering, lasting 3 years (180 ECTS points), • occupational safety, lasting 3 years (180 ECTS points). 2. master academic studies in mechanical engineering lasting 1 year (60 ECTS points) at the following modules: ▪ machine design ▪ production engineering ▪ automatic control and fluid technique ▪ energetics and environmental protection 3. doctoral academic studies in mechanical engineering lasting 3 years (180 ECTS points).
