Overview

ExpoGeorgia is the leading exhibition and convention centre in the Caucasus region. As a multi-functional business centre, we combine trade fairs with congresses and conferences. It is located in the central part of Tbilisi – the capital of Georgia. Construction of the fairground started in 1958 in the days of Soviet Union. In 1994-98 it was privatized and restructured as a joint stock company and renamed ExpoGeorgia. In October of 2005 The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry – UFI approved the admission of ExpoGeorgia as a full member in categories of exhibition organizers and exhibition centers. The whole fairgrounds cover 140,000 sq.m. The territory of the centre is a recreational zone with century old trees, tropical greenhouse, two decorative ponds and fountain. Parking on 450 cars computerized and equipped with digital system. The site features about 12,000 sq.m. of exhibition hall space and a 20,000 sq.m. outdoor exhibition area. There are 11 halls and the space of the exhibition pavilions ranges from 400 to 2000 sq.m. Experienced, attentive event coordinators work to develop new concepts and programmes to ensure that ExpoGeorgia as "a relationship broker" continues to have a strong voice in the international economic forums of tomorrow.
