Overview

Established in 1938, Executive Women International (EWI) is a premier organization for women in business with an equal focus on Careers, Connections, and Community. As an international, nonprofit organization, EWI brings members together to promote member firms, to enhance personal and professional development, and to encourage community involvement. EWI offers professional development, scholarships, online learning, and philanthropic initiatives with a focus on literacy. EWI also provides board positions to women on the corporate and chapter level annually. EWI members consist of employed business professionals, at all levels of business including CEO’s, Entrepreneurs, Executive Assistants and Sales Managers. EWI of Columbus was chartered in 1970, and has since served as a strong member of the area business and philanthropic community. In the past ten years alone, EWI of Columbus has given over $75,000 to causes in the city. With a philanthropic focus on literacy, the organization provides scholarships to adult students and also supports the Columbus Metropolitan Library’s Summer Reading Program. Member firms from the Columbus Chapter include representatives from DSW, CASTO, OhioHealth, FedEx SmartPost, Franklin University, Battelle, Skyline Exhibits of Central Ohio and Huntington to name a few.
