Our population of 10,500, consists of permanent and summer residents many gravitating to our most densely populated areas such as Liverpool, Milton and Brooklyn. Liverpool is uniquely positioned as an events hosting hub in Nova Scotia. Accessible in under 2 hours to a captive audience exceeding 600,000 people encompassing Yarmouth, the Annapolis Valley and Halifax, with timely access to Halifax Stanfield International Airport, our Region has hosted so many amazing events over the years. We boast prime hosting venues from the largest to most intimate. Take Liverpool direct for example: the historic Astor Theatre, expansive 3 acre Privateer Waterfront Park and one of Nova Scotia's finest multi-purpose venues Queens Place Emera Centre. Recent Queens Place events include: Fall 2021 Home Hardware Curling Pretrials, 2019 Hockey Canada Women's National Team Fall Festival, 2019 World Junior Curling Championships, 2019 Brett Kissel and many more amazing music legends, sports events over the years!
