Events 101 is a platform for young people who are in the events industry or aspire to be, giving them the training and opportunities required to pursue their careers successfully. Founded in 2020, we have held a mix of virtual events including our annual event 'bridging the gap in the events industry' which was supported by hundreds of professionals and Academics Globally. We now connect businesses and corporations to young, diverse talent Within the event, hospitality and travel industries, across the UK and Europe through our global talent pool which has been built through our online presence. We also offer event staffing. Supporting this avenue, whether taking on 1 student or 10, allows individuals from the next generation of the industry to gain hands on experience working on a variety of events, something that the traditional routes have struggled to offer in years past. Our staff are trained by the best in industry through weekly virtual training sessions, so the worry of getting a reduced quality of service by hiring students, can be put to rest! We have collaborated with other organisations on events such as UK Black Business Week, EVCOM EVCOMFerence, WOTC Magazine fashion week, London Home Show and more, in a variety of roles from speaker liaisons, events assistants to registration staff, ensuring the successful delivery of their events. As part of our commitment to bridge the gap within the industry, we campaign for our students to gain paid work experience where possible.
