Overview

EAV consulting is a small team made up of two experts in data analysis who carry out workload-based allocation and deployment analyzes for organizations wishing to assess their staffing needs, such as police agencies, fire departments, emergency medical services (EMS), and healthcare institutions. Raw data from information systems is cleaned and transformed to enable the application of specific operations research methods developed by Jeremy Wilson and Alexander Weiss, the Center for Public Safety Management (CPSM), the Association of Public- Safety Communications Officials (APCO), the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF), as well as by Hospital Healthcare Europe. These analyzes make it possible to support managers' decision-making on the total number of staff required and the optimal numbers that should be deployed by seasons, shifts, time slots and days of the week based on target discretionary or proactive time. Analyzes also make it possible to evaluate shift schedule performance and to propose solutions for the adoption of a shift schedule that meets both operational and employee needs.
