Overview

As a charitable organisation directly funding specific nature conservation projects arouns the world, EOCA wants to show that the European outdoor industry is committed to putting something back into the environment, and that, all working together a real difference can be made. With over 150 members, membership of EOCA is open to any company operating within the outdoor industry, whether they are a manufacturer, supplier, service provider or retailer etc. Why should my company be involved? -We support the most effective conservation organisations – through a rigorous screening process and with input from a voluntary team of scientific advisors, all experts in different fields of conservation, we are supporting conservation projects worldwide. - Strength in numbers – by pooling resources with other outdoor companies, collectively we can put a larger amount of support and money into selected projects than individuals could on their own. - We have a track record of success – the association was formed in 2006 and to date €5.4 million has been invested in 187 conservation projects in 65 countries. - You are part of the only organisation within the European Outdoor Industry that specifically raises money to put back into the environment you work within and value so much. - One hundred per cent of membership fees (based on a company's European turnover) go directly into funding conservation projects. - Joining EOCA is a way for a company to have an environmental giving programme, without the need for extra in house time and resources - yet at the same time helping to look after the environments and wild places that the sector's livelihood depends on.
