Overview

EuroMuevete is a non-governmental organization located in Malaga, in the south of Spain. Was founded in 2018 by a group of young people and youth workers from Málaga, who found out that the youth in their local community needs the support to develop their personal and professional skills to have a better chance in the labor market, as well to raise the awareness of their needs when they choose their university. We are focusing on working within the framework of the Erasmus+ Program using as the main methodology, non-formal or informal approaches. Our TARGET group is made up of young people with fewer opportunities, especially unemployed young people between 13 to 30 years old and adults from the region of Malaga and the rural areas. We are offering education and training, through personal development, cultural and artistic activities based on European values. Our methods are based on: - Generating innovative and effective methods, techniques and work tools for the fight against unemployment and social exclusion. - Supporting entrepreneurship at the local, national and international level; - Promoting social volunteering in the fight against social exclusion and social inequalities. - Promoting and participating in international initiatives both with countries of the European Union and with other non-EU countries within the framework of cooperation for development. - Supporting education at the local, national and international levels; - Establishing networks with other social agents and organizations of the third sector, both nationally and internationally, as an effective method to respond to the problem of unemployment and social exclusion and as a form of social commitment to the territory where the entity is located. - Promoting gender equality, human rights and youth mobility.
