Overview

With more than 10,000 students and 240 permanent faculty members, Esprit is the largest private higher education institution in Tunisia. Founded in 2003, it has rapidly built a reputation for excellence, thanks to its proximity to the business world, its partnerships with foreign universities, and its problem-based and project-based learning method. ESPRIT is educating operational engineers in 4 specialties: ICT, Civil Engineering, and Electromechanical Engineering. In September 2017, all of Esprit's courses received EUR-ACE accreditation provided by the French organization CTI (Comité des titres d'ingénieurs). The school is also a member of the CDIO (Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate) consortium founded by Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Finally, Esprit is a member of the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles (CGE), which certifies the most prestigious engineering and business schools in the world. Since its creation in 2003, Esprit has evolved and several entities have been created: Esprit Entreprise (training tailored for businesses), and Esprit School of Business. ESPRIT is a member of the Honoris United Universities network, the first pan-African private higher education network committed to training the next generation of African leaders and professionals capable of impacting their societies and economies in a globalized world. Collaborative intelligence, cultural agility and mobility are at the heart of the Honoris vision for higher education. Honoris United Universities merges the knowledge and expertise of its member institutions to develop world-class African human capital, competitive in increasingly digitalized labor and start-up markets.
