Equatorial Launch Australia (ELA)

Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing

Overview

Equatorial Launch Australia (ELA) owns and operates the Arnhem Space Centre (ASC), a multi-user commercial spaceport in East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory, Australia at 12° S. ELA successfully completed three launches with NASA over 15 days in June and July 2022. ELA and the proximity of the ASC to the equator, provides access to the full range of orbits and inclinations, offering rocket companies and their payload customers: operational freedom, significant economic benefits and simplicity/reduced risk for both their launch and overall mission design. At ELA we are more than just a landlord. We provide a comprehensive suite of value-added services, supporting the mission and launch planning, regulatory licencing and compliance assistance, launch preparation and conduct, recovery of vehicles/stages, payload management and fuel storage and preparation. Our method of operation is to anticipate and reduce client risk and associated admin/logistics burden for all operational launch scenarios. [12:56 pm] Amanda Hudswell Due to our low-cost base, equatorial launch benefits, scale and flexible access to space, ELA provides a world class value proposition and now that we have completed our Phase 1 development can rightly claim to be the world’s premier multi-user commercial spaceport.
