Overview

ECCORE (Environmental Education, Conservation and Research) is a leading environmental, non-governmental organization in Cameroon. We operate under the preamble "Environmntal protection everywhere, for all generations!". We are invloved in environmental protection through: Environmental Education, Environmental consultancy,Environmental Research projects. We carry out Environmental education at all levels using various media. Research and project implementation geared towards fostering conservation in all environmental spheres and improving local livelihoods. We carry out studies to predict environmental change with necessary recommendations to minimize disasters. Through field survey and GIS/remote sensing methods, we are able to draw up mitigation plans for disasters and eradication plans for human populations. We execute biodiversity conservation projects in different parts of the world. We also carry out a Conservation Youths training program in which we train and mobilize youths to be conservation leaders. At EECORE, we propose policies that will foster environmental protection and improve on livelihoods, Implement quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE) standards within projects, Environmental Impact Assessment for proposed projects.
