Entrain Space

Overview

Entrain Space supports ex-Services personnel, including veterans and military Service-leavers, who struggle with the many challenges the transition to civilian life presents. Although the skills, values and experience developed during Military Service have enormous potential value for communities, as well as businesses and the wider economy, it can be difficult to translate this into civic life, leading to unrealised human potential, even hardship and in some cases homelessness. Entrain Space aims to realise this human potential, for the benefit of individuals who have finished Military Service and for our local communities. We provide high-quality contemporary flats with wrap-around professional support plus a personalised program of training, employment and enterprise opportunities for our ex-Services residents. We have a full-time on-site support team, superb connectivity and facilities, and professional training providers. Opportunities include placements and work opportunities through our growing network of business and employer relationships, as well as help for business start-ups, or more sheltered opportunities within our own social enterprises. Engagement with the local community as well individual well-being are also important aspects of the Entrain Space journey. The shared goal is to achieve a successful move-on to a secure and fulfilling civilian life after up to three years with us. Erskine House, near Salisbury in Wiltshire, is our very first Entrain Space, and we take can applications from the whole of the UK.
