EDEN’s mission is to reduce the recurrence of families returning to shelters by offering practical and lasting life changes. Its Intervention and Stabilization Program is aimed at breaking the cycle of homelessness among young single mothers and their children who are in long-term shelters. EDEN serves underrepresented, underserved, and marginalized individuals; the majority of whom identify as BIPOC, are single mothers, have experienced unstable housing situations, abuse, sexual violence, and face multi-generational poverty.
