El Purica offers exclusive, handcrafted specialty coffees from Costa Rica - originated from different coffee regions and with outstanding taste profiles. We purchase them ourselves directly from small coffee "fincas" where they were grown on nutrient-rich volcanic soil and carefully sun-dried. Once they arrive to Germany we roast our coffees in small batches here in Freiburg. For all our coffees we will provide you the details on variety, origin and processing methods – these are all factors that have a significant impact on the "cup profile". In this way, you can get to know and enjoy the diversity of the coffee world and thus choose your beans based on your very own personal preferences. El Purica is also a certified member of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA).
