After graduation in 1983, I lived and worked in Oklahoma City, Dallas, Chicago and New York City, and finally moving to Morganton in 1996. Throughout my professional career I was involved in a wide range of disciplines in different settings. Professional work involved designing churches, retirement community, and schools to commercial and mixed-use facilities. In Morganton before establishing my own practice as “Elan Architect”, I have worked for the State of North Carolina Health and Human Services and Salsbury Robert B. Architect, PA. As an architect I am committed to integrity and professionalism in all aspects of practice. Over the years have completed numerous new and renovation projects and enjoys the challenge of revitalizing existing environment keeping cultural context in perspective.
