Overview

EIA is an e-Business Institute offering profession business development support to entrepreneurs and Innovators across sectors in Uganda. Courses/Programs at EIA support entrepreneurs to launch or refine their business models to sustainably scale up. EIA partners with development partners including funders, academia, and corporate organizations to design programs for companies/enterprises/individuals in their portfolio or focal sectors. EIA has several Programs: • StartUp Course: This is purely for early stage enterprises where we support them to launch or redefine their business models, and we also provide small financing to support. • Cente Ya Kikazi: An all women accelerator supporting women-led SMEs through capacity building and improved access to finance. For more information, visit http://bit.ly/CYK2021. • Mentorship program: Experienced players in business or entrepreneurial spaces are hosted to share their experiences with entrepreneurs. • Catalyzer & Accelerator Labs: These focus Scaling Up and Investment Readiness of relatively established enterprises. We tailor the trainings based on the needs assessment. • Management Courses: These focus on models that encourage and improve productivity at workplaces through intrapreneurship and Innovation. • Academic Courses: We are yet to introduce business courses at diploma and degree level.
