Overview

We, a group of students and alumni from IITs have created a platform where people can help JEE candidates reach their centres by driving them in their vehicles. Considering the current limitations of public transport like trains and buses, it would be a challenge for students and parents to reach exam centres. As an initiative to ease commuting for students, we have created a portal - https://www.eduride.in/ which would be helping the students living in villages where the nearest centres are 50-100 kms. What Students & Alumni can do- How can someone help? Please visit https://www.eduride.in/ and register yourselves as "Alumni". You will then have the option to: (a) Drive the student from your area to his/her exam centre (b) Make a donation to to facilitate a cab service for the exam-takers How does this work? Case (a) : After registrations of alumni and students, the portal will connect each alumni and student via an exchange of contact details. The two can then coordinate together to plan the travel to the exam centre. Case (b) : The donated money will help to fund for a cab service for the exam-takers on the day of the exam.
