Overview

"Smart recycling technology for tomorrow's smart cities." Australians generate a lot of waste. 48 million metric tonnes per year to be precise, 49% of which is directed to landfill. With global waste generation forecasted to double by 2025 and triple by 2100, our current recycling practices are ultimately unsustainable. Research indicates that separating recyclables at the point of disposal dramatically increases recovery yield. Here at EcoRobotics, we have developed our unique EcoSense technology that can help automate source separation recycling. We would like to implement our technology in a revolutionary decentralised waste management model. Imagine future cities where you can put all of your waste into one smart bin that automatically sorts your recyclables for you. The ultimate goal of EcoRobotics is to move the world toward a sustainable zero waste future.
