EC-Rat, Easy tools for Electronic Corrosion Reliability! Welcome to EC-Rat! EC-Rat is short for Electronic Corrosion Reliability Assessment Testing. A "rat" is also used as a term for an informer, and the double meaning of the word makes it appropriate for our company: We produce easy methods and tools for detection of unwanted process residues and materials on electronic devices. We are proud to launch the Residues Rat for detection of unreacted flux residudes from the soldering process of electronics production Product video link: http://youtu.be/UU5laMeHX9g EC-RAT ApS is a spin-off company from the Center for Electronic Corrosion (CELCORR) research program led by the Technical University of Denmark. The company was founded by researchers with a background in materials and surface science having strong competences in corrosion and climatic reliability issues. We aim at generating tools for making products more reliable, decrease production costs, and to detect and avoid unwanted materials or chemicals.
