Founded in 1969, Duncan-Williams, Inc. is a broker-dealer headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee. From our beginnings as a small regional municipal bond firm, Duncan-Williams grew to be one of the largest regional “Female Owned” broker-dealers in the nation before becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of South State Bank, N.A. (SSB) in February 2021. Although our roots are in the Southeast, we have grown into a nationally recognized, financial services provider serving clients across the country.
