Overview

A village in the heart of South London, Dulwich is named for the wild flower meadows that used to grow here. Wild dill flowers can still be seen in the many parks and green spaces of the village. Inspired by the history and collaborating with the highly respected Thames Distillery, we have created a classic London Dry Gin with a contemporary twist: alongside more traditional botanicals we use dill to give our gin soft floral and lemony citrus notes with juniper and a hint of aniseed to follow. We are very smooth (particularly for a 43% spirit) and have a rounded mouth feel and long lasting finish. Dulwich is home to the Dulwich Picture Gallery which opened in 1811 - an era when seemingly all of London were merrily quaffing gin. It was the drink of the decadent and dissolute from street corners to stately homes. Taking inspiration from these (in)famous times, we aimed to capture the elegance and style of the era in a modern way. No two bottles of Dulwich Gin are the same, each remixing Georgian portraits from the gallery in endlessly unique combinations of characters and colours. For every bottle of Dulwich Gin sold, we make a contribution to the Dulwich Picture Gallery to help fund future art projects.
