Founded in 2006 by schoolmates Narayan Manepally and Paul Chowdhary, Geist Brewing Co. is South India’s first distribution craft brewery. At the heart of its philosophy lies the belief that exceptional beer surpasses everything else. With a mission to ensure utmost freshness from the very first sip, the brand's journey began by experimenting with test batches in a small basement. Today, it operates a sprawling 10,000 sq. ft. factory where its experienced team brews a variety of international craft beer styles, including wheat beers, IPAs, stouts, lagers, and more. The first food & beverage location opened in October 2020 - Geist Brewing Co. OMR, a beer garden overlooking its distribution brewery on Old Madras Road, Bangalore. Today, Geist Brewing Co. has three distinct locations across Bangalore. The company has also expanded its B2B presence in Hyderabad and has made Geist Crowlers available across a growing number of retail outlets in Bangalore and Pondicherry.
