We are a community development organisation based in Dzita and Dzita-Agbledomi, Volta Region, Ghana. We are twinned with eco-lodge, Meet Me There African Home Lodge, who generate income for our community development programmes in sanitation, education and youth sports development. Our sanitation programme utilises Ecological Sanitation (EcoSan) technology, also known as compost toilets, in both schools and at the household level. From our learning centre, we deliver a range of educational courses from adult literacy to renewable energy courses. Using sport for development, we engage the youth in our communities through football, providing educational opportunities the classroom cannot deliver. We believe community development should be approached in a holistic manner, where the needs of the community are the priority. In doing this, we create community-led solutions that use indigenous knowledge and understanding to create sustainable change. We are supported by Dream Big Ghana Foundation UK, who we work closely with to generate income for our programmes.
