Dragon is a standalone business jointly financed by two industry shareholders Shell UK Ltd (50%) and Ancala LNG Ltd (50%). Dragon's terminal in Waterston, Milford Haven in Pembrokeshire, can receive up to 96 cargoes per year supplying 10% (in 2022) of the UK’s natural gas demand. Regasifying LNG into the national grid on a continuous or intermittent basis, Dragon has the capability to manage on a zero send-out basis. Generating 10MW of renewable energy via the 18,500 solar panels in Dragon Energy Park, Dragon employs 100 local direct staff at their Waterston site and have 30 business partners. Community is very important to Dragon and ensures communication through their Community Liaison Committee, F2F through our Public Information Zone residents and supporting youth development and training with award winning projects with partners Darwin, Pembrokeshire College, Milford Haven School Cluster and Pembrokeshire County Council.
