Duties; I am charge of ensuring their latest project in Leeming Bar is delivered on time. The project is a large Biogas, waste to energy project on behalf of the client – JFS. As can be seen by the press release - http://jfsassociates.co.uk/leeming-bar-plant-has-gone-live/. When I joined the project in March it looked unlikely to be delivered by this point, we have managed, as a team to turn the project in to a success. We recently flowed Bio-methane to the grid. Project successfully completed and delivered on time and within budget. BIOMASS / BIOGAS / Energy to waste / Convertible energy Show less

This was an Alstom project, created for Essent. The conversion of a gas power station that initially came online in 1977 to a ccgt plant, extending the power station I worked on the repowering of claus B and the construction of claus C. The project involved the replacement of the old gas fired boiler of Claus B by the three new GT26 gas turbines will increase the total output to 1,280 MW from the current 640 MW and reduce CO2 emissions by 40%. I looked over the work of a project team of around 40-50 men. I liaised with site managers, project managers and clients whilst on this project. Show less

This was an Alstom project, designed for Centrica. The project was a CCGT project. The aim of the project was to allow the power station to go from 0 to 900 MW in less than an hour, featuring the largest ever-installed Integrated Cycle Solution (ICSTM) heat recovery steam generators in the UK, having emission levels among the lowest in the world for this type of facility. I was in charge of overseeing around 240 men on this project, often liaising with site managers, directors and clients, giving feed back on progression and potential problem solving. Show less

The overall aim of the project by Amec was to spend 10 months project managing the programme to turn the hull into one of the largest and most complex floating oil and gas production facilities ever built. The floating gas and oil production platform was fitted with 22,000 tonnes of processing equipment at the Amec shipyard, before being towed to the Nigerian Bonga oil field. I was involved with all pipe works within the Bonga and helped to install the new equipment.
